A Prequel to Unearthing Day

Weaving Fate

A soul unwilling to reunite with its host. A mother afraid to accept her daughter. A terrifying ability to see people’s futures.

Years have passed since Linda Vilhelmina brought someone back to life with her ancient restorative skills. Jillian—her cousin—will live if she succeeds, but what if she fails?

Linda struggles to make sense of everything from the past forty-eight hours: her ex-boyfriend’s attack on her cousin, Jillian’s attempt to take her own life, and her mother’s fearful rage over her daughter’s magical powers. It’s too much to handle when tragedy strikes, leaving Linda with a skill more torturous than any of the ones she was born with.

Embracing her superpower may help Linda find justice for Jillian. But fighting for something bigger than herself will come at a cost for someone else.
