S.K. Karlsson has been crafting stories for friends and family since elementary school. In recent years, her writing has turned professional with essays on Medium and episodes of the Unloading Zone on Amazon Kindle’s Vella platform.
In the early 2000s, the idea for her first novel came to her in a nightmare. She dreamt of a young woman who avenged the murder of her mother. Inspired by the dark side of humanity, S.K. spent the better part of a decade researching the book, Unearthing Day.
Born in the Midwest, S.K. has called Texas home for nearly three decades. She is the mother to twin teenagers and returned to school in 2017 for an MBA in Healthcare Management. She splits her time between writing The Lonely Hunters Series, traveling, working out, and taking care of her family.
